Toodledo iOS App Updated
From Toodledo, here’s what to expect:
Here is what is new:
✔ The “Alarm” field can now be reordered, enabled and disabled independently from the due-date field.
✔ It is now possible to set a default alarm for newly added tasks.
✔ It is now possible to turn on/off remote application badge updates independently from remote task alarms
✔ If you sync with Toodledo.com and have manually ordered your folders, that manual ordering will now be transfered to the app
✔ Fixed a bug with syncing that could have caused some data to sync incorrectly in this specific scenario: Delete a folder on the website, then edit a task that was previously in the deleted folder, then sync the iPhone.
✔ Improved accessibility for visually disabled customers who use the VoiceOver screen reader.
✔ Fixed a bug that caused a crash when a question mark was in the name of a tag.
Instagram Adds 130,000 New Users Per Week!
I downloaded this app twice and removed it twice already. Now however, I am using it regularly. I didn’t quite “get it” before I guess, but now that their API is open, other apps like Momento (the ultra cool, social diary app) is able to catch your Instagram uploads and more. Not familiar with Instagram? It’s a social photo sharing site where you can make little adjustments to the photo like cropping, B&W and other effects. However, it is really about the photo. Our sister site is ProPhoto Coaliiton so we’re keen on photography here!

FaceTime Not iChat
It’s still day one of the WWDC and after an iPhone 4 focused keynote, there are still many questions left unanswered. For one, why the name change to FaceTime and not iChat?
To use FaceTime, you must be on Wifi, and that’s solely due to AT&T who’s already been crying about bandwidth. In fact, I had already lost a bet that the reason AT&T raised their rates based on data usage was due to the impending video chat functionality on iPhone 4. I was apparently wrong…
Farmville Coming to iPhone
Personally, I’ve never played Farmville, and frankly, I’m kind of tired of my Facebook Friends updates being populated by Farmville news. But it tells me how popular the game is, despite my personal lack of adoption.
If you’re a fan, expect this little gem to be released by end of June.
iPhone 4 720p HD Video
What does all this video recording mean? For one thing, shooting video at 720p and 30fps, you can’t shoot unlimited videos without thinking a little about storage. If you plan on doing much video shooting at all, I’d recommend you opt for the 32GB. Bummer the iPhone 4 doesn’t allow you to ad an external card as well.
Add the optional $4.99 iMovie app, and you’ll be editing iPhone footage on your iPhone itself. I’m really more anxious to see this on the iPad, but I’m willing to drop $4.99 for the iPhone version. I’ve already tried a few iPhone video editing apps and they’re not too bad. ReelDirector is one such app. You can check out our take on
FaceTime: Real video chat on the iPhone 4 under WiFi only. “Two cameras, two views. iPhone 4 has two cameras: One on the front, which focuses on you. And one on the back, which focuses on everything else. FaceTime lets you switch back and forth between them at any time during a video call. All you have to do is tap a button. Retina Display: “By developing pixels a mere 78 micrometers wide, Apple engineers were able to pack four times the number of pixels into the same 3.5-inch (diagonal) screen found on earlier iPhone models. The resulting pixel density of iPhone 4 — 326 pixels per inch — makes text and graphics look smooth and continuous at any size.”
